Local initiatives

Our site managers and their teams around the world regularly organize a range of local initiatives, which can take the form of financial contributions or concrete actions.

Mersen focuses on three main types of collective initiative:

• local economic actions,
• actions to promote employment, training and learning,
• charitable contributions and volunteer work.

For example, Mersen India has developed a partnership with the non-profit organization EnAble India, to select disabled persons whose qualifications match the company’s needs and to train Group employees on accommodating and working with disabled colleagues. Thanks to this initiative, a few severely-disabled operators now work in our Indian plants.
